Tempo is one of the best places in Buffalo in my impression. I have been here many times, mostly in special circumstances. I highly recommend going there, but recommend booking in advance.

Cool atmosphere,  but kitchen had a lot of screw up. I ordered medium and burger was cooked to a hockey puck. Very overcooked. The kicker was the rudeness that greeted my complaint.  Makes me think they would do something awful to my food if I sent it back. Wings used to be the best, now meh

Waited for a table for over an hour. Came here just for the wings. Spent over 150 on drinks at the bar waiting for a table and other food once we sat down. They bring us chicken fingers instead of wings. Tell me wings will be another 30 mins. Well 30 mins comes and goes and when we are ready to go they tell me it&apos;s gonna be another 10 mins and I can take them for takeout. I tell them they need to make this right and they do nothing. After being a big fan of Gabriel&apos;s gate I will never come back here again. Wings are better at bar bill

Came here for wings and didn&apos;t get wings after 3 hours. Go elsewhere for good customer service

My family of four chose this as our lunch spot after spending a full day at Roswell Park for my SIL who was recently diagnosed with brain cancer. It was about 3:30 in the afternoon and we were emotionally spent and wanted a good meal.  Service: The place was empty except for 2-3 tables. We were seated at a very small booth in the back of the restaurant next to two gentlemen who seemed to be celebrating a birthday. The music and the men were loud (nothing against these gentlemen) and so I asked the man (Connor) who seated us if we could be moved to a quieter area at the front of the restaurant. Without even looking at me he stated it would be "at least 15 minutes" before he could move us as he "was busy".....are you kidding me??? The place is empty! And busy doing what?? But as I didn&apos;t want to create a scene I told him to forget it, which he did very quickly. My husband then proceeded to "tell" Connor that we would be relocating to a different table and we moved ourselves.  Food: The food was okay, except that my SIL&apos;s burger came out smothered in blue cheese -which when we told the waitress the description said nothing about that, she argued that it did and didn&apos;t offer to replace it. I proceeded to try to scrape all the blue cheese off his burger only for her to come to us about 5 minutes later to say she was mistaken and that we were right, it wasn&apos;t supposed to have it!  They did make him a new burger but unfortunately it came after the rest of us were almost finished with our meals. Experience: To say that our experience was less than pleasant is an understatement. Of course the staff was not aware of what our day had consisted of- or the fact that my SIL was recovering from brain resection surgery- but nonetheless the service we received was unacceptable no matter what the circumstances! We will never return to this establishment and are very sorry this is the place we chose to go to after a very long and stressful day.

Disappointing visit

Just a disappointing experience. I was looking forward to visiting this restaurant after a local friend suggested it and it was pretty bad. From slow service to cold food I can say I would never go there again when visiting the area. Unfortunately it wasn’t just our table that was experiencing terrible service. There were other tables missing food and waiting on drinks. Too bad because the restaurant itself has a lot of character we just don’t plan to ever return.

Will Not Return

Went here on Monday night before a bills Monday football game tbh.  Wanted to get a nice bite on game day before going to the game.  Was a fun place. Fun location downtown.  The people there were nice. It was super busy so the service wasn’t the best but she was ok.  I went here from a local recommendation.  A few people recommended the wings and to try the beef on weck ( I think it was called like cottage street or something.   But it was a oooular thing in buffalo so I had to try it.  Really enjoyed it.  Then we got dry rib wings.  They were pretty good.  But I prefer wings with sauce.  But I tried the dry rub and they were delish.  I got wings all over the place in Buffalo.  And my dad had the French onion soup and he said it was delicious and the best French onion soup he had in a while.   But good place and I’d go back.
